Why Do You Keep Buying Stuff You Never Use?

What the heck is a gazingus pin?  I first learned about it in a lecture by the book author of Your Money Or Your Life, Joe Dominguez. I understood it to be something you always buy without thinking about it and then go home and put in a drawer and never use.

Once I understood the concept, I knew I needed to stop buying annual proof sets of coins from the US mint. I am not quite sure why I started buying them for me and each of my children. Maybe I thought they were a good investment. (They aren’t.)

You probably have something similar. It’s really a symptom of spending money without thinking about it. It’s almost like we are hypnotized and act robotically. Some people buy new cars that way. Others get subscriptions of all kinds.

One way to EMBRACE PROSPERITY is to become conscious about how and why you spend your money. You need to know if your choices really serve you. There is no judgement about what you choose, only that it serves your priorities.

We have included a section on Practicing Abundance in each chapter as a way to help you break out of your own automatic behavior and the unproductive thought patterns that sustain it.

If you wonder why you are not doing the things you know you need to do to really take care of yourself, this book can change your life. Get your copy now.

This article is a comment I wrote about a passage on Page 77 of Embrace Prosperity: Resolve Blocks to Experiencing Abundance (Rapid Relief With Logosynthesis®) You can see the passage in the book. You can also see the excerpt here. This link will take you to Bublish.com, where I regularly publish comments on parts of several of my books. This is a site where authors share of their work. You can subscribe to my musings, there, as well as to the musings of many other authors. It’s a great place to learn about new books and I recommend that you visit.
