Who Told You You’re Not Doing Enough?
On vacation I discovered that I deleted most of my email. I realized that my inbox had been invaded by things I never subscribed to in the first place. They had accumulated gradually, each one offering a bit more useful or interesting information.
I am repeatedly vulnerable to these alarms and petitions to show my support because I am unhappy with many things that are happening politically. I believe it’s the responsibility of a citizen (me) to speak out about and stay involved in efforts to support those who are fighting for my point of view.
Since I got home, I have been busy unsubscribing to most of those “important” newsletters, critical announcements, etc. First, I needed to manage the old belief about staying involved. It once served a purpose, but now it keeps me from other priorities.
I used the basic Logosynthesis process to reclaim the energy I had locked into that belief. Thoughts that surfaced about my own insignificance surprised me. Then I remembered the things I do to contribute and relaxed.
Has your inbox or social media been invaded also? Are you following old beliefs that keep you stuck and tired? If you’re finding it hard to let them go, even though you want to, use the three simple sentences to release your energy and free yourself from others’ agendas.
LETTING IT GO shows you the easy process to help you let go. Read the book and learn how.
This post is a comment I wrote about a passage on Page 99 revised edition, Page 111 original of Letting It Go: Relieve Anxiety and Toxic Stress in Just a Few Minutes Using Only Words (Rapid Relief with Logosynthesis®). You can see the passage in the book. You can also see the excerpt here. This link will take you to Bublish.com, where I regularly publish comments on parts of this book. This is a site where authors share of their work. You can subscribe to my musings, there, as well as to the musings of many other authors. It’s a great place to learn about new books and I recommend that you visit.
