“I am not technical” is something I told myself for a long time. I followed it with “I’m too old to learn AI.” This was fine until my IT guy gradually became unable to keep up with the work. Fortunately, several months ago I was so intrigued by AI that I used the simple, almost magical Logosynthesis process I teach in this book to retrieve my energy from the belief that “I’m too old…” and signed up for an excellent, semi-technical AI class that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Then the company we used to deliver the extra gifts in my books closed that service. I accidentally found out about it 24 hours before the final closure. As I struggled to save my data and untangle the mess, I discovered that the non-technical me had been overlooking things that the IT guy had not done correctly for some time.
With the help of skills I learned just for fun, I have rescued all my data from the old company and sorted through the possibilities and offerings of many other companies to find a new service that, I think, will work much better than the old one. I have rescued and reinstalled my subscriber lists and sorted through the other materials and turned over some of the work of reinstalling files to someone else.
I hope you don’t need a mess like mine to give up an old limiting belief that keeps you from exploring something new and exciting.
This post is a comment I wrote about a passage on Page 99 revised edition, Page 111 original of Letting It Go: Relieve Anxiety and Toxic Stress in Just a Few Minutes Using Only Words (Rapid Relief with Logosynthesis®). You can see the passage in the book. You can also see the excerpt here. This link will take you to Bublish.com, where I regularly publish comments on parts of this book. This is a site where authors share of their work. You can subscribe to my musings, there, as well as to the musings of many other authors. It’s a great place to learn about new books and I recommend that you visit.
