Are You Ready to Break Scarcity Chains?
I noticed that I was strangely reluctance to spend $8.00 for a prepared dinner entrée for two at the grocery store, when I easily spend considerably more than that for a single entrée for dinner at a casual neighborhood restaurant. Logically that makes no sense.
An illogical impulse usually has an emotional reason and is a symptom of blocked energy, so I did a set of the Logosynthesis® sentences using “this illogical behavior” as the trigger. What appeared was 65-year-old memories of grocery shopping as the new wife of a graduate student.
Back then, between his tiny stipend and my equally tiny salary, I needed to become an expert at shopping for inexpensive food. I was proud of how well I learned to feed us with so little money. Since we could rarely afford to eat in restaurants, I didn’t think about that very much. My energy was stuck in a real experience of managing scarcity.
Now, after a lifetime of careful money management, our retirement is blessed with an abundance of resources. I used the sentences again to reclaim my energy from “these memories of scarcity.”
