I spent a few days visiting a wealthy friend. Our lifestyles are very different. One way is that she has a full-time housekeeper/cook. She plans but doesn’t shop and seldom prepares dinners. I shop and cook for myself and have a housekeeper come for a couple of hours every other week. We each live comfortably within our means.
I was delighted to discover that plastic bags to be reused were drying on her kitchen counter just like they were on mine. I can easily afford to buy new bags, and she certainly can. Still, we both reuse and recycle because we hate to put unnecessary trash into the environment.
Money is only one way of measuring abundance.
What would happen if you woke up tomorrow and had enough money to continue to live your life pretty much as you are doing now but never needed to think about the cost of anything you did? I don’t mean that you are suddenly able to live “like a millionaire” or whatever ads are promising. Just imagine continuing to live your life knowing you will always have enough money to pay your bills.
Would your daily thoughts change? Would you make different choices? What would you stop worrying about? What would you stop doing? What would you start doing? What would you continue to do?
I’ll bet you could do some of those things right now. Read “Embrace Prosperity” to help you choose and enjoy your own abundant life.
This article is a comment I wrote about a passage on Page 55 of Embrace Prosperity: Resolve Blocks to Experiencing Abundance (Rapid Relief With Logosynthesis®) You can see the passage in the book. You can also see the excerpt here. This link will take you to Bublish.com, where I regularly publish comments on parts of several of my books. This is a site where authors share of their work. You can subscribe to my musings, there, as well as to the musings of many other authors. It’s a great place to learn about new books and I recommend that you visit.
